Nicholas Kernan, a 43-year-old groundskeeper and employee of Uptown Properties, was tragically shot and killed on May 23, 2023, in Cincinnati's Corryville neighborhood. The incident occurred in broad daylight while Kernan was performing landscaping work on Donahue Street. Police responded to reports of gunfire around 3 p.m. and found Kernan with a gunshot wound. He was rushed to UC Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
