On October 27, 2023, 18-year-old Brandon "Biz" Collins was among six teenagers shot during a party at 810 Ferndale Avenue in Mansfield, Ohio. The incident, which occurred around 11:30 p.m., resulted in the deaths of Collins and 17-year-old Jarmel Boyd; four others, aged 14 to 19, sustained injuries.
