On October 27, 2023, a tragic shooting occurred at a Halloween party held at an Airbnb rental on Ferndale Avenue in Mansfield, Ohio. The incident resulted in the deaths of two teenagers: 17-year-old Jarmel Deaunte Boyd and 18-year-old Brandon Collins. Four other individuals, aged between 14 and 19, sustained injuries during the shooting.
