In the community of Aurora, Colorado, concern grew for 87-year-old Kyo Miller, a woman whose world had become confined to her bed. Unable to walk, she relied on the care of others. With her family residing in Japan, a close circle of friends had taken on the responsibility of her well-being. For a time, she had been in a nursing home, but in early 2018, her ex-husband, Eldred Miller, with whom she still owned a home, moved her back into that residence on South Halifax Way.
