On November 11, 2023, 14-year-old Logan Matthew Taylor was accidentally shot at a residence on East Lucius Avenue in Youngstown, Ohio. He was transported to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on November 13.

Following the incident, a 13-year-old boy, identified as a friend of Logan's, was charged with murder in connection to the shooting. In August 2024, after a trial in Mahoning County Juvenile Court, the boy was found guilty of reckless homicide, a ...
