On February 11, 2024, at approximately 1:30 a.m., 16-year-old Jacob Barrett was found with a gunshot wound in the 200 block of Langdon Street in Toledo, Ohio. He was transported to Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries. The Lucas County Coroner's Office later determined the cause of death to be a gunshot wound to the chest, ruling it a homicide.
