On October 11, 2024, 46-year-old Rashad Jameel Ewing was fatally shot in the 3400 block of Twining Street in north Toledo, Ohio. Responding officers found Ewing with a gunshot wound to the head; he was pronounced dead at the scene. The Lucas County Coroner's Office later ruled his death a homicide.
