On March 11, 1985, Richard Wlodarczyk, a 28-year-old associate manager at the Red Lobster restaurant located on Monroe Street in Toledo, Ohio, was found dead in the kitchen of the establishment. Officers arrived at the scene at around 7:32 am after receiving a call regarding a possible homicide. Wlodarczyk had been stabbed numerous times, and his body was discovered on the kitchen floor.
