On September 14, 2024, at approximately 1:57 a.m., Toledo police officers were dispatched to the 300 block of North Detroit Avenue, near This Is It Drinks & BBQ, in response to reports of shots fired. Upon arrival, they found 28-year-old Isiah Pressley suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Pressley was immediately transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 2:04 a.m., about 30 minutes after arrival.
