Shawn Garrod Flowers, a 22-year-old male of African American ethnicity, tragically lost his life on September 15, 2013, in Toledo, Ohio. Flowers was found in an alley off Woodstock Avenue, having been shot at least once. He died at the scene. The incident sparked an investigation by local detectives, but no charges were filed at the time.
