Marcos enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Alberto Sanchez; uncles, Tom, Albert, and Jose Sanchez; and his aunt, Alice Flores. His surviving family includes his parents; wife; children; brother, Angelo Sanchez; niece, Alayah; half-brothers, Leopoldo, Marcos, Andres Jr., and Ronald; half-sisters, Angie, Paula, and Magdalena Pecina; and his godchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, with a Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Toledo. Interment followed at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy were directed to the Pecina children.
