Death by Force

On July 9, 2023, at approximately 2:49 a.m., Toledo police responded to reports of a shooting in the 700 block of North Michigan Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered 35-year-old Deon Walter Huntley suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. He received immediate medical attention at the scene before being transported to St. Vincent Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
