Shirley Ann Voita, aged 79, tragically lost her life on May 15, 2023, in a mass shooting in Farmington, New Mexico. She was one of three victims killed during the attack, which also claimed the lives of Gwendolyn Schofield, 97, and her daughter Melody Ivie, 73. The incident occurred in a residential neighborhood and involved random acts of violence. Shirley Voita was shot while in her vehicle and later succumbed to her injuries at the hospital.
