Patricia Madrid, a 36-year-old woman from Farmington, New Mexico, was found shot in her home on the morning of February 26, 2025. Authorities responded to reports of a shooting at approximately 7:58 a.m. and discovered Madrid suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Emergency personnel transported her to San Juan Regional Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries.
