In North Las Vegas on a Tuesday afternoon, June 20, 2023, the life of 19-year-old Deewayne LaDonn Edwards was tragically cut short. A recent graduate of Legacy High School, the young Black / African American man had dreams of playing football for the University of Nevada Las Vegas and eventually becoming a chiropractor. He was known for his love of dance, working out, and spending time with his friends and family, who remember him as a joyful person who loved to smile and joke around.
