In the early evening of March 5, 2024, a vehicle crash on Dreamy Hill Avenue in North Las Vegas revealed a grim scene. Inside the car was 28-year-old Justin Smith, a Black / African American male, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. First responders rushed him to University Medical Center in critical condition. Despite medical efforts, Smith succumbed to his injuries six days later on March 11.
