In the late hours of a Tuesday night in Las Vegas, a planned meeting in the east valley took a fatal turn, ending the life of 19-year-old Ammir Smith Rhodes-Foreman. The young Black man was fatally shot on May 14, 2024, in what police have described as a marijuana deal that escalated into deadly violence.
