On June 10, 2024, a reunion between childhood friends in Las Vegas, Nevada, ended in tragedy, claiming the life of 23-year-old Xzavier Maheia, a Black / African American male. The fatal shooting occurred at a residence near Eastern Avenue and Charleston Boulevard, where Maheia was shot multiple times.

The suspect in the shooting was identified as Isaiah Branch, a 25-year-old man who was reportedly a childhood friend of Maheia. The two had recently reconnected and decided to get together. ...Read More
