De'Arney Isaiah Austin, a 14-year-old student from Las Vegas, tragically lost his life on November 1, 2007, as a result of a fatal shooting. The incident occurred when De'Arney was walking home from a Halloween party with a friend, just hours before his death. He was described as a promising young athlete, standing at 6 feet tall and weighing 180 pounds, with aspirations of playing football. His unexpected and violent death devastated his family, friends, and the local community.
