In the early morning hours of January 12, 2023, the life of a 27-year-old Black male, Adnan Mohamed Ali, was tragically cut short in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Responding to reports of gunfire shortly before 6:30 a.m., police discovered Ali at a homeless encampment situated near 15th Avenue South and South 6th Street. He was found suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds.
