In the summer of 2023, the life of Vanessa Calgren Crawford, a 50-year-old White/Caucasian woman, was tragically cut short in her Wichita, Kansas, home. On the morning of July 25th, a mother arriving to drop off her child at Vanessa's in-home daycare discovered a horrifying scene.
