On June 25, 2023, in Wichita, Kansas, 44-year-old Nicole Dempsey was found deceased in her home from an apparent gunshot wound. Earlier that morning, her husband, 47-year-old Thomas Dempsey, contacted 911, stating he may have killed his wife during an argument.
