On a summer evening in Wichita, Kansas, the life of Linda Shawn Casey, a 31-year-old Caucasian female, was brought to a brutal and tragic end. On June 29, 1985, a friend discovered her body in her apartment at 356 N. Spruce Street. The scene that awaited him was one of horrific violence. Linda had been bound, gagged, and subjected to a savage attack.
