Treonte Devar Johnson, a 15-year-old from New Iberia, Louisiana, passed away on January 8, 2023. His death was a result of gun violence, which has been a significant concern in the community. Johnson's death was the second homicide of the year in New Iberia, following closely after the death of another juvenile, Latron Eugene, who was 14 years old.
