In the late summer of 2020, the life of a young man, Eric Demetric Walker Jr., an African American male, was tragically cut short at the age of 21 in New Iberia, Louisiana. Known to his loved ones as a 'happy-go-lucky' individual, he was born on January 7, 1999, in Houston, Texas, to his parents Eric Walker Sr. and Lenora Johnson.
