In the early morning hours of Friday, March 30, 2018, the life of 26-year-old Dante Lewis was tragically cut short in New Iberia, Louisiana. Shortly after midnight, deputies from the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the vicinity of Ambassador W. Lemelle Drive and Hopkins Street following reports of gunfire. Upon their arrival, they discovered a single male victim who had sustained one gunshot wound.
