On a late summer evening in New Iberia, Louisiana, the life of 40-year-old Tommie Boloney was tragically cut short. On August 18, 2021, at approximately 8:30 p.m., Boloney was on Anderson Street when a gunman opened fire. Several shots were fired, and the assailant quickly fled the scene, leaving a wake of sorrow and unanswered questions. Emergency services responded to the incident, but Boloney succumbed to his gunshot wounds.
