On January 26, 2023, a fatal shooting occurred in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, resulting in the death of 21-year-old Rajanee Williams. The incident took place in the 3300 block of Mission Drive, near Winbourne Avenue, around 7:00 p.m..

During the shooting, two individuals were struck by gunfire. Rajanee Williams died at the scene, while the second victim, an 18-year-old, was transported to a local hospital and listed in critical condition as of the following morning.
