On April 13, 2023, 38-year-old Christen Knighten was fatally shot in New Orleans, Louisiana. The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Music and North Roman streets. Responding officers found Knighten with a gunshot wound to the chest; he was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died.
