On a Saturday morning in New Orleans, on February 9, 2019, the life of 43-year-old Kenneth Jones came to a violent end. Jones, a Black male, was found by First District officers from the New Orleans Police Department at approximately 8:37 a.m. in the 1800 block of Iberville Street, suffering from gunshot wounds to his head and neck. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
