In the early hours of a Tuesday in New Orleans, the life of Kendol J. Mutin, a 26-year-old male, was abruptly ended. On March 1, 2016, at approximately 1:30 a.m., Mutin was shot and killed as he opened the door to his home in the 1700 block of Piety Street in the 9th Ward. The tranquility of the night was shattered by the violence that claimed a young life and left a family to mourn.
