In the quiet town of Baker, Louisiana, the evening of April 24, 2023, was shattered by an act of violence that claimed the life of 30-year-old Sequan Morgan, a Black male. Around 8:40 p.m., a grim discovery was made outside the Park Plaza Apartments, located near the intersection of Groom Road and Sherron Avenue.
