In the late hours of a Monday night in Baker, Louisiana, the life of 24-year-old Jaylen Maiden, a male, was tragically cut short. On May 22, 2023, authorities were called to a grim scene on Lavey Lane, near Morvant Road, where Maiden's body was discovered in a grassy area adjacent to a mobile home park. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The Baker Police Department initiated an investigation into the homicide, seeking to piece together the events that led to the young man's death.
