In the late hours of a Friday night in Baton Rouge, tragedy struck, claiming the life of 26-year-old Ennis Abraham. On May 26, 2023, just after 11:30 p.m., a drive-by shooting occurred in the 3400 block of Main Street, near North Street. Abraham was pronounced dead at the scene from a gunshot wound to the head. Another individual who was with Abraham at the time was also struck by gunfire but sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
