On May 26, 2023, Ennis Abraham, a 26-year-old resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was fatally shot in a drive-by shooting. The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. in the 3400 block of Main Street, near North Street and North Acadian Thruway.

During the shooting, Abraham was pronounced dead at the scene. Another victim, identified as his friend Jorey Bryant, was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
