Any updates on this case?
On February 5, 2024, 18-year-old Melvin McClinton was fatally shot in Kenner, Louisiana. He was transported to Ochsner's Kenner campus by two individuals but, despite emergency medical treatment, succumbed to his injuries. The Kenner Police Department identified the shooting scene in the 1600 block of 42nd Street and determined that McClinton was targeted, indicating the incident was not random. The two individuals who accompanied him to the hospital were questioned but remained uncooperative.
