On April 1, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred at the Palace Night Club, located at 2310 Scenic Highway in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The victim, 26-year-old Timotheus Bowie Jr., was shot just after midnight and was subsequently transported to a local hospital in a personal vehicle. Despite medical efforts, Bowie succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
