An 18-year-old woman’s life was tragically cut short in the early morning hours of May 20, 2024, in Shreveport, Louisiana. Enijua Turks, a female, was fatally wounded in a shooting that erupted in the parking lot of a Whataburger restaurant located in the 2500 block of West Bert Kouns Industrial Loop. The incident unfolded around 1:40 a.m. amidst what police described as a large and chaotic gathering of teenagers and young adults.
