On May 20, 2024, an 18-year-old woman named Enijua Turks was fatally shot in Shreveport, Louisiana. The incident occurred around 1:40 a.m. at the Whataburger restaurant located in the 2500 block of West Bert Kouns Industrial Loop. Turks was in a car when she was shot several times during a confrontation between two armed individuals that escalated into a shooting.
