Brenda Thomas-Morris, a 44-year-old woman, died from a gunshot wound on June 26, 2024, in Gonzales, Louisiana. Ascension Parish Sheriff's deputies responded to a call at her residence on Garcon Road around 7:30 p.m. and found her deceased.

An investigation into the incident indicated that an argument between Thomas-Morris and her husband, Sean Morris, 50, escalated, leading to the fatal shooting. Sean Morris was arrested in connection with his wife's death. It was later reported that ther ...
