Lillian Phillipe, a 71-year-old woman, was tragically murdered on April 9, 1997. She was found stabbed to death in her home in Gonzales, Louisiana. Phillipe, who was of Caucasian ethnicity, was one of the victims of Daniel Joseph Blank, a serial killer who targeted elderly individuals in the River Parishes of Louisiana. Blank's crime spree, fueled by his gambling addiction, spanned from 1996 to 1997 and resulted in the deaths of six people and the attempted murders of two others.
