Elizabeth Lee Johnson Theriot, a 50-year-old woman from Gonzales, Louisiana, tragically lost her life on January 26, 2019. Elizabeth, along with her husband Keith Theriot, was a victim of a mass shooting that took place in Ascension and Livingston parishes, Louisiana. The shooter, identified as their 21-year-old son Dakota Theriot, carried out the attack using a handgun he had stolen from his father.
