Steven Williamson, a 49-year-old male, was found deceased in his home in what is believed to be a violent end to a domestic dispute. His wife, Jenny Williamson, who was also 49, has been identified as the person responsible for his death.
The grim discovery was made after a concerned family member, unable to make contact with the couple,
visited their residence on W. Bates Rd. in the Hammond area that falls within Livingston Parish. Upon entering the home, the family member was confronted with a harrowing scene. Investigations by the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office indicate that Jenny Williamson shot and killed her husband.
The violence did not end with Steven Williamson's death. Authorities report that after killing her husband, Jenny Williamson also fatally shot an eight-year-old boy who resided in the home with the couple.
