In the late evening hours of a summer Sunday in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the life of Marvus Green, a 32-year-old man, was tragically cut short. On July 21, 2024, at approximately 9:44 p.m., the sound of gunfire shattered the quiet of the 2600 block of Cedar Avenue. When officers from the Baton Rouge Police Department arrived at the scene, they discovered Green deceased inside a vehicle that was stopped in the roadway.
