On July 27, 2024, a homicide was reported in the Kentwood area of Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana. The victim, identified as Edward Robertson, a 43-year-old man from Magnolia, Mississippi, was found shot to death inside his vehicle. The discovery was made after a caller reported seeing a man slumped over the steering wheel of a car in the middle of Brab Alford Lane near State Line Road around 8:30 a.m..
