A hunting trip in the Sandy Hollow Wildlife Management Area near Kentwood, Louisiana, ended in tragedy on the morning of December 28, 2024. Roberto Garcia, a 61-year-old male resident of Baton Rouge, was deer hunting in the area when he was fatally shot. The incident occurred around 8:45 a.m.
