In the late hours of a Sunday night in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, a burst of violence shattered the quiet, leaving one man dead and another wounded. The incident unfolded shortly before midnight on July 28, 2024, on North Harrells Ferry Road, in the vicinity of Sherwood Forest. When the sound of gunfire faded and help arrived, 57-year-old Ronnie Shief was found to have sustained fatal injuries.
