On August 8, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred in the 2500 block of Dayton Street in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, resulting in the death of 14-year-old Travez Washington. The incident was reported around 12:49 PM, and Washington was found with multiple gunshot wounds in a ditch along Dayton Street near Interstate 110.
