Death by Force

On August 11, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred in the 10800 block of Chef Menteur Highway in New Orleans, Louisiana. At approximately 1:33 p.m., officers from the New Orleans Police Department's (NOPD) Seventh District responded to a call of a man down at the location. Upon arrival, they found the victim, an adult black male, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) arrived on the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.
