On April 22, 2023, Dan Likiko, a 21-year-old resident of Florence, Kentucky, was fatally shot in an incident that occurred in the evening. The Florence Police Department responded to a call at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Winthrop Circle, where reports of a fight and shots fired had been made. Upon arrival, officers found Dan Likiko seated in the driver’s seat of his vehicle, suffering from several gunshot wounds. Florence EMS pronounced him dead at 9:43 p.m..
