On a Tuesday afternoon in Louisville, Kentucky, the Shelby Park neighborhood was disrupted by violence that claimed the life of Lawrence Lauff Jr. The 49-year-old man was fatally shot on May 9, 2023, near the intersection of South Preston Street and Marret Avenue.
