In the spring of 2018, a young man's life was tragically cut short in an act of violence that remains unresolved. Alagie Cessay, a 25-year-old male, was fatally shot on the evening of Tuesday, May 8, 2018, in an east Louisville apartment building. The incident occurred shortly before 8:30 p.m. at the Stonewater Park Apartments, located at 11300 Powhatan Court, near Westport Road.
